Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a systems engineer for the SDA GMI program, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system.

Preferred Experience:

• JICO= Joint Interface Control Officer
• JICO certified military officers have ~ 3 months of specialized classroom training on planning, employment, and operation of Link 16 JTIDS/MIDS, Joint Range Extension Application Protocol (JREAP) in a Joint Force and Multinational Tactical Data Link environment
• 5 years of military JICO deployments in L-16/JREAPC fielded systems
• 5 years of engineering experience in system test, deployment, and/or operations of large distributed systems

Target salary range: USD $149,807.40/Yr. - USD $166,192.60/Yr. This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.
