Our Tech Team is looking for a Data Visualization Intern for the Summer of 2023! All internships start June 6th, 2023 and are 10-12 weeks long.
Position location: We're all about flexibility! This will be a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA with Mondays & Fridays remote.
Who We are Looking For:
Looking for an outstanding Data Storyteller/Data Visualization analyst to be a catalyst in our ongoing effort to become a data driven organization. Someone who can help us explore beyond rear view mirror reporting and tackle predictive/preventative analytics at scale once foundational reporting has been established. This role will work across all our business functions, platforms, and operations to perform analytics that supports decisions, and instills a data-first culture. This is not a data engineering or an ETL role.
What You Will Do & What You Will Learn:
Delivering insight using compelling Power BI visualization techniques to key business functions.
Putting forth cohesive business architecture story across various functions through design thinking. Show the art of the possible with rapid analytical prototyping and storytelling.
Building models and designing experiments that seek to uncover truth.
Analyzing complex data made of unstructured, semi-structured and structured datasets to drive insights
Active participant in defining data strategy, its execution path, and help build our digital data fabric collaborating with our product partners
Working in a data factory model and work with vendors to scale up and maintain our environment that supports our business functions
What You'll Need:
BA/BS in computer science or related field or equivalent relevant experience, preferably with a focus on data visualization
Experience with Data Visualization using tools like PowerBI (preferred) and Tableau.
Demonstrate ability to work effectively with others within a complex, cross-functional and fast paced organization
Excellent communication. Ability to present ideas and insights to business stakeholders
CPG industry knowledge is a must.
